Burt’s Bees Baby offers inexpensive organic cotton pajamas for babies and toddlers that are super soft and hold up to frequent use.
I brought my baby girl home in Burt’s Bees Baby organic cotton pajamas. So obviously I love them for sentimental reasons, but there’s a lot to love about them!
Fabric
Burt’s Bees Baby organic cotton pajamas are very soft but don’t pill, which is something I’ve run into with more expensive organic cotton pajamas. They’re easy to get on and off with a zipper that runs down one side, which is great not only for diaper changes in the middle of the night, but also for squirmy toddlers. There’s also a snap tab at the chin that covers the zipper to protect baby’s neck and chin. And there are grippy bees on the feet for walkers in sizes 12m and up. If you’re looking for organic cotton in general, Burt’s Bees Baby is really an affordable line.
Care
I love that these jammies are easy to wash, with no fussy washing and drying instructions. What’s the point in having baby sleepwear that’s too delicate to put in the dryer? I get that line drying is romantic, but I don’t have the time (or space)! Some of the other organic cotton pajamas I’ve tried have started disintegrating in the wash. Others have shrunk in the dryer, even on low heat! (Not to mention the fact that those pajamas cost 3x as much!)
Aesthetic
I generally stick to the classic stripes, but there are also some fun seasonal prints like the butterfly vine sleeper that we adore. On Christmas morning two of my nephews were wearing matching Burt’s Bees jammies too! The pictures were adorable.
Cost
It’s not hard to find these pajamas on sale for $10, which is inexpensive for organic cotton! When there are sales I stock up!
