Bubble Bath / All-Over Ointment / Baby Fresh Spray (Note: Tubby Todd has updated their packaging since I took this picture of the basics bundle.)
If you’re looking for all-natural bath products for your baby, I have a fun recommendation for you! Have you heard of Tubby Todd? Tubby Todd makes high quality products that appeal to parents looking for soaps and lotions that are safe and all-natural. As you’ll read on the Tubby Todd website, every product meets rigorous standards making them “absolutely toxin, gluten, paragon, sulfate, artificial fragrance and color, BPA, and animal cruelty free.” These products are long-lasting, smell great, and are designed specifically for sensitive skin.
I bought a Tubby Todd basics bundle set when I had my first baby. I’d been following them on Instagram for a while and they were offering a rare promotion. I’d been curious about this relatively new brand of all natural baby products and felt excited to give them a try. I also loved the playful packaging!
In this honest Tubby Todd basics bundle review I’ll tell you how I feel about each product in their lineup after YEARS of regular use.
Tubby Todd Hair and Body Wash
This lavender scented body wash always takes me right back to the newborn stage! We used it for our daughter’s first baths at home with this neat tub that fit our small sink. Especially in those early months I worried about exposing my child to harmful chemicals. I felt great about using this product because Tobby Todd strives for transparency about their ingredients.
A little bit of soap really does go a long way. It lasts us for months! This is a great multi-use product that I’d recommend without reservation to anyone looking for all-natural baby wash. Remember that a small amount will do the trick!
Tubby Todd Everyday Lotion
The Everyday Lotion was a part of our bedtime routine from the beginning. It provides lightweight moisture and a soothing lavender & rosemary scent. Some experts will tell you that babies don’t really need lotion. I liked using it as a sensory cue that it was time to go to sleep. Because I used the lotion more frequently than the body wash, it ran out more quickly. However, a little still goes a long way! I have Tubby Todd lotion bottles in several rooms throughout my house and apply it multiple times per day.
Tubby Todd Bubble Bath
I have a feeling that some moms may get more use out of this bubble bath than their babies! We didn’t introduce the bubble bath until our daughter was around a year old. Funny enough, bubble baths really scare her! We’ve filled the bath with bubbles a handful of times, and each time she refuses to get in. This has nothing to do with Tubby Todd and everything to do with my child’s personal preferences. We still have a nearly full bottle of this on hand.
Tubby Todd Baby Fresh Spray
This product smells delicious, but it has truthfully always confused me a little bit. I know it’s supposed to be a freshening spray, but whenever my baby needed “freshening” I’d generally give her a bath or a good wipe down with my favorite Water Wipes. Similarly, if her linens needed freshening, I’d simply change them. Occasionally I’ve tried to use this product as an air freshener, but it’s a fairly light and subtle scent that isn’t really intended for that use. I promised this would be an honest Tubby Todd basics bundle review, so this is my honest feedback. The baby fresh spray is one product that doesn’t make sense for me personally, but it does smell great!
Tubby Todd All-Over Ointment
This is hands-down my favorite Tubby Todd product and one of my newborn essentials. Trust me, you need this product! It’s a thick, fragrance-free cream that I use almost daily. It’s perfect for dry patches and scratches. My baby always seemed to have little scratches in those early weeks, even though I stayed on top of trimming her nails and often dressed her in these cozy sleepers with built-in mittens. This ointment contains beeswax and other natural ingredients that help to heal irritated skin very quickly. I can’t recommend it highly enough! As with the other products in Tubby Todd’s baby line, a little goes a long way. You don’t need to use much to see a real improvement. If you buy one product from Tubby Todd today, choose this one.
Tubby Todd Dream Cream
Think of the everyday lotion as a light moisturizer and the dream cream as a heavy moisturizer. I was with a baby who had dry skin just the other day and wished I’d had this product on hand to share with his mama! I love the fresh mint & lime scent. I found that I used the dream cream more often in winter months. I think if I lived in a dry or cold climate, I’d stock up on this for sure.
How Much Does Tubby Todd Cost?
A lot of research and development goes into producing toiletries. On top of research and development, you also pay more for high quality ingredients. As a result, you’ll pay a premium for Tubby Todd products. Tubby Todd definitely costs more than drugstore brands and costs as much (or more!) than some popular boutique brands.
The Basics Bundle costs $69. The Hair & Body Wash and Bubble Bath both run $13, the Everyday Lotion is $14. The All Over Ointment is $12 and the Dream Cream is $13. You’ll also pay for shipping for orders under $50.
Tubby Todd rarely discounts their products. If you want to be aware of these rare promotions, definitely subscribe to their email newsletter and follow them on Instagram!
Is Tubby Todd Worth The Price?
I would happily pay full price for the All-Over Ointment because I think it’s a truly special product. I think the Basics Bundle is a perfect baby shower gift that any expectant mama would love. I know I’ve definitely been tempted by their travel kit.
I care a lot about the ingredients I use in my home, so Tubby Todd feels like a safe choice for me. If you have the budget for these products, by all means, I think they’re great! But I also think there are other viable options ;). If you’re curious about finding other all-natural bath products for babies, I recommend checking out EWG’s extensive database.

My Honest Thoughts About Tubby Todd
My go-to Tubby Todd product is their amazing All-Over Ointment. I will probably always feel nostalgic about the Hair & Body Wash and the Everyday Lotion, which work well and smell great. I love the Dream Cream when I’m visiting cold or dry climates. During my next pregnancy, I’d want to try their Mama Bundle and get a sense of those products too. If you’re looking for baby bath products that smell great and perform well for normal skin, Tubby Todd is a wonderful high-end option.

I’ve been surprised at how helpful the ointment has been for our little toddler. Minor cuts and scrapes are unavoidable, especially now that we’re going to the park most days. The Tubby Todd ointment has been great.
